Legal Wallets

Legal Wallets are generally cloth gusseted, full depth pocket and full length flap document wallets. They are extremely robust heavy weight wallets used primarily by the legal profession for the long term storage and protection of valuable paper records.

The gusset is generally made of hard wearing cloth that can allow the file to expand up to 6 inches thick. This cloth is glued and sandwiched between two pieces of medium weight manilla to ensure that the stored papers are fully secured and protected for the long term. The securing of cloth in this way is a manufacturing process known as double lining. The pockets are full depth, again for protection, with a full length flap which is generally tied in place with eyeletted pink legal tape.
